Question:

My ancestors came from Cork, Ireland in 1852 or 54. How can I track them before the boat trip?

Considering his name, Robert Stevenson, it could have been anywhere in UK/Ireland. Is there any way to track them online? I know its difficult tracking immoigration during the famines. Any info is appreciated
