Does anyone have any details information about the family history on Isambard Kingdom Brunel?

I can't find any info relating to his family life, just a lot of info on his work. Does anyone know if he had any children? I know he had a brother, did he have children, and if so, does anyone have names? I am tracing my family history......... I've got to be related to him some how!!!

The article (first) on his early life talks about his parents. If you search around for his parents, it is only 190 years ago. Other people also, will be interested in that relationship. So, I suggest the GENFORUM or one of the other Genealogy sites. You should also check the Brunel University Family tree below. They may be able to provide some information on the his family.

If you trace backward on your family tree, then forward on his tree (including his brother), you should find a hook-up. Also, if someone on GENFORUM claims to be related, you should do a DNA test with them. In fact, you can start that.
