I don't know my biological family or anything about them. I am curious about my heritage.?

Is there a doctor or someone that can look at you or study you and tell you what your family genetic make-up might be? Is is expensive? I just want to know something about myself. It would be fascinating and I think my children will appreciate one day that I can tell them about their history.
