Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The best thing to do is check in the Ellis Island Immigrant Directory, That has the names of all the people who came over here, the thing is though alot of people changed their last names because their old last names were too long and hard to pronounce...the best thing to do is talk to your grandparents also and find out if they know anything.
