How do you find where someone is burried?


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Death certificate, funeral record or obituary. None are sure things, especially before 1880 or so. Their religion helps. If they were a Catholic (Methodist, Quaker, Jew . . .) and there was just one Catholic (Methodist, Quaker, Jewish . . .) cemetery in town, they may be in it. Before 1900 there is a good chance they are in the cemetery attached to the church they attended.
