Hermann Eisenmann. Born Bavaria 1858. Ancester Search?

Hi. A long shot I know!

My Great Grandfather came for Bavaria to London. Worked as a violin repairer. Married Margaret, had two sons and early in the 1900s, left his family and returned to Bavaria.

Anyone got any info at all about him please?

Thanks Mcfifi. Great effort! Confirmed my search on Ancesters so far but I had not clocked the kids were not at home in 1901. conrad was my grandfather and gerald his brother. Just the two.

Still leaves me with the bounder Hermann leaving his family and going back to Bavaria! That is the blind alley I am at......when do he sod off back and does anyone in Bavaria able to help?

hjz. For you. His sons, Conrad b 1888 and Gerald b 1890, changed their names to that of mothers, Holdsworth. Joined the army in Canada. Thanks!

Ahead of uyou on research. Still nothing on Hermann the leave family and go back to Bavaria, great grandfather. Lots on my grandfather. Got his draft card from america where he joined up and his medals card. So canada wrong. Good site though as other relative joined from canada. None died in war.
