It is with great sadness that the family of the late Woodrow Ross Pearce announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Thursday, September 7th, 2006 in his 54th year. Woodrow will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife, Marjorie (nee Hewlin) of 30 years, his children: Debbie (Chubby), Della (Shane), Darren (Linda Lee), Sheldon (Cindy), Denise (Paul), and Dion, his sisters: Daphne (Whit), Minnie (Rex), Lillian (Bryant), Beverly (Gordon), his brothers: Eugene (Phyllis), Alex (Tina), and Tony (Kim), his sisters-in-law: Della (Clary) and Myrna (Larry), his brother-in-law Steve, his mother and father-in-law, Joan and Forward. He also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Woodrow was predeceased by his mother and father (Jean and Eli), in 2004 and his sister-in-law Rona in 2005. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street in Deer Lake today, Saturday September 9th, 2006 and on Sunday, September 10th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 11th, 2006 at 2 p.m. from St. Michaels and All Angles Anglican Church in Deer Lake, with Rev. John Meade officiating with the interment to follow at the church cemetery, Wight's Road, Deer Lake. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
