Looking for my ancestor witch is my father golden clair anthony he was born feb 9 1895 died feb 1 1941?


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I believe that he was the son of Irvin Anthony and Mary Catherine Yoder. According to his World War I Draft card, he lived in Brooke County, West Virginia and was born Feb 9, 1898 in Pennsylvania.. At the time of the world War I draft card he worked for William Finley as a coal miner. He was med height, medium build, Grey eyes and black hair. He died in Steubenville, Ohio in Jefferson County on Feb 1, 1941. His death certificate is recorded in Volume 9648 Certificate number 11399. His family can be found in the 1900 census in Armstrong, Redbank County, Pennsylvania. He is listed with sister Oma( Born September 1888), brother Ira (born Apr 1891), sister Esther, (born June 1893) His father was dead by 1900 because his mother Mary (born June 1871) is listed as a widow.

His spouse was listed as Goldie in the 1920 West Virginia census and by 1920, they had a daughter named Grace L Anthony who was 11 months old. They had 3 more children named Donald, Hester and Mary. By 1930, he was married to a lady named Marcella who was born about 1908 in France. They also had a 3 month old son named William. Marcella had immigrated from France in 1924.
