Question:

Where does my family name 'adornado' came from?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, as we go back in history, some last names have meang related to functions that the ancestor did in society. For example, a "Smith" may have been some type of metal worker or blacksmith. Or, the name may relate to where an ancestor was from. "DeGualle", may have meant that your great ancestors were from a City called gualle. In your case though, my research indicates that you had a rather "slow" ancestor that was the town weatherman. He would watch for storms, tornadoes and such. Every now and then, he would run into town shouting "adornado is coming, adornado is coming", and the rest is history.
