researching family history. Great-Grandparents were from Bavaria, Germany, His name John M Wunder Wife was Mary E Wunder, born 1848 Daughter Mary A Wunder ,10-25-1866 (my grandmother) She married Charles W Sparkes they marrie May 18,1890, Charles died 2-23-1936 and Mary A died 3-3-1944. This is great grandparents on mother's side. Can you advise where to search for inforation?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Try searching Heritage Quest, usually available through your local library's website. Here's what I was able to find from the 1880 census through Heritage Quest:
Head of Household: John M. Wunder, age 37, Married, Taylor by trade, Born in Bavaria, as were both his parents.
Wife: Mary E., Age 32, Born in Maryland, both parents born in Bavaria.
Children:
Mary, age 14, Lotta, age 11, Andrew, age 7, Katie, age 5, Annie, age 3, and Martin, age 1 all born in Maryland.
