Flint Hill, St. Charles Co., Mo with 11 kids. 2 kids born in Va. George W.1831-2 and William C. b.1833-4, The rest starting with John A. b.1835 born in Mo. Francis not in 1860 cesus. George worked in tobacco factory in Flint Hill married Annie H. Dudley of Lincoln Co. in 1860s, had 2 kids, Dudley Cartland b.1866 and Clarie b.1868. Later lived in Troy
Possible father, Matthew(Rev. war vet), mother, Molly Glass and gr father Dudley all might have come to St. Charles Co. at same time with big group of farmers from Fint Hill Va. looking for land. All grew tobacco.

One data base was updated last week.

Matthew isn't in the DAR lineage books, as far as I can tell.

If you have been doing census lookups, you are too advanced for this site. You might read 10 Questions here and 10 on

and

and the two you can find starting here:

then decide where would be the best place to concentrate your efforts. You could sign up for a Roots Web surname or county mailing list, too.
