how could i search to see if someone i know has died in another country he is living in, when i search his name last evidence of him is 4 years ago. is there something on the web i could search his name.

The ideas are the same in other countries as here. You can start with LDS Family Search, if there - that gives you a date. If not, then you have to narrow down the time frame. Get to a librarian that speaks english in the town near where you think the death occured, and see if you can find an Obituary. There are Obits online.

Finally, the death certificate is a vital record for that country. Look up "VITAL RECORDS <country name>" in a YAHOO Search line. The follow the instructions for that country. Good luck.
