Question:

What does my name mean?

Taiya Lee

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You were named after a river and a Confederate general.

The Taiya River is a 17-mile-long (27 km) river in the U.S. state of Alaska running from the border with British Columbia, Canada, to the Taiya Inlet of upper Lynn Canal.

The Taiya River is unique as it passes through a number of different ecosystems over a short distance. From alpine tundra to temperate rainforest a variety of fauna and flora reside in the Taiya River and its valley.

Taiya in turn is a Tlingit word, and I don't speak Tlingit. It may mean "swift", "slow", "deep" ot "trout". It may not.

You can find Robert E. Lee in any encyclopedia, on-line or paper. It is the 9th most common surname in the USA (And VERY popular in China) so you may have been named after a relative, not the general.
