Go to the town/municipality where he died, and ask where the probate and will for him is. Then request a copy. If there is no will, then his kids would divide the proceeds of his estate in probate. If you are the only one, then you would inherit it all. Probate determines what happens. So, you have to find the result of the probate (unless a will stipulates otherwise).
