Question:

How can I find out where some one is burried?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Assuming your individual is buried in the U.S.:

--Look up the individual on the Social Security Death Index (SSDI)

http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cg...

to see where their last residence was. This is *probably* where they died.

--Look up cemeteries both in the area where they last lived and in the area where they came from (if other than where they died). Most cemeteries don't have burial listings online so it might actually be easier to call them.

If you do want to check online, try the individual cemetery websites or online burial listings, such as

http://www.interment.net

or the Tombstone Transcription Project at
