Behind the Name is for first names, whereas it's sister site Behind the Surname - http://surnames.behindthename.com/... - is for last names. Click on "links" in the lower left-hand corner to find additional, very helpful resources.

Last Name Meanings - http://www.last-names.net/articles/anato... is yet another site I just found that gives you a great range of last-name meanings according to nationality.
