his name was julius theodore Rode he is listed in the 1930 census as being an inmate at manhattan state hospital on wards island. he was born in or about 1855 and died abt 1934. His wife was Martha rode and had 3 children edwardj, harry p and frances. his parents may of been born in germany but i think he was born here
