Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am sorry to say that if this is the same Nicole Bernard that I know she was killed by a shark attack of the coast of Florida in 1999...She was enjoying the day with her family and they were swimming at sunset and a Mako Shark bit her in the leg....She died from her wounds on the way to the hospital...She will be missed...
