Can you get a CDIB card with a DNA test?

Question:

Can you get a CDIB card with a DNA test?

I have been trying to find my Cherokee ancestors on the rolls and in my search I keep getting on alot of sites that talk about proving it with a DNA test. Is that enough proof to get a CDIB card? As far as I can tell the roll number would be with my Great Grandmother or earlier.
