Question:

Found some old documents?

I foulnd an old medical card & soldiers army release document, an old rent book & at least a dozen photographs. All very old & I would love someone to be reunited with their familay pictures. I have dates of births full names street names. i even have one of the photoed persons national insurance number a few more bits & peices.
My question is, Where do I begin tracing the people.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You can look for the people in question on

If you find them, send e-mail to the genealogist who contributed the data. He/she may know of descendants. (He/she may not; some people "collect" individuals they aren't related to.)

You can post a note on a surname board at GenForum. Start here:

has a page of advice on posting a good query.

Best of luck, and thank you for being so nice!
