Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's a very ethnic name. Giving it to a baby will label her as Jewish, whether she is or not. But it is a beautiful name. It reminds me of my cousin who was going to have a little boy and thought "Levi" would be a great name. Of course, it didn't really match is very Portuguese last name and lots of people bit their tongues (including her husband). In the end, he ended up being named after his dad's favorite football player. Sometimes good sense wins out over whimsy.
