Question:

How can/do I find out my birth weight?

My birth certificate (which I haven't seen in several years and likely won't be able to locate) does not list my birth weight.

I was born in Brookeville/Dayton, OH and obviously know my birth date but little else (including the name of the hospital I was born at).

I was a preemie and am very curious about my birth weight.

How do I find out that information? from whom?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Odds aren't in your favor for getting your birth records from a hospital if it was more than 20 years ago. Those records aren't kept forever. You can get a new birth certificate from the county clerk in the county where you were born. Your birth weight is required to be on there (I used to work in medical records and typed literally thousands of them. If someone submitted it without a birth weight, the county would have kicked it back as incomplete). If it's not on there, then the obvious answer is to ask your parents. If they can't tell you, then the only other person who might still have the records would be your pediatrician.
