I'm doing a speech on my Polish culture. My great great grandfather, last name Czarnik, was a mayor of some city in Poland. None of my family members can recall for what city or year he was a mayor. Does anybody know of a website that lists mayors in Poland? Where can I find a list of former Polish mayors ranging from the mid 1850's to the present?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No such website exists. If you're fishing in order to find his name, realize there are over 5800 towns to research in an unknown point in time. That's some MEGA research to be done from this side of the pond.
