Question:

Geneology Reacords how to organize all this information?

I have been working on my geneology for around 25 years and have two notebooks full of information, what i would like to know is there some place that takes all this information and gets it into organized charts, information,Pictures etc. I am proud of all the information i have Collected but now I feel overwhelmed now. I want it put together and look nice so I can display it at family reunions and would love to share this information with other Meadows Family members

If you don't know how to make a web page--no problem! They have their own software to help you do it, and it is as easy as using Microsoft Word.

You can upload photos and scans of documents. What I have found to be most useful for my cousins is to type in the information from pension papers, obits, etc, citing the source, of course. I did this in Microsoft Word, saving each as a Web page.

What is neat about this is you can link your site to others--Kenosha County Wisconsin's genealogical site has links to mine, for example, and I put a link on my GedComs at World Connect.

I have met more cousins doing research by doing this--and we have joined forces and together have discovered a whole missing branch of the family!

If you'd like to get an idea of how I did my genealogical webpage, click on the link below.

Yours in kinship.
