Does anyone one know the meaning of the surname Ganzler?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For German the word Ganz means whole or total so it was something to do with that, if that even makes sense now. Like the phrase "ganzen Welt" is the known world or whole world.
Like the other guy said, a lot of names may not make sense. My name in German would either mean a steward of tennant of a Dairy farm or an old Major like from the Army.
It is problematic to even try to figure out, some names are literally easy like Schmidt is Smith in English like a blacksmith, others just don't make much sense.
