In South Carolina. Cheraw, Darlington, Bennestville, Dillion Counties. My Great Grandfather was born @ 1893 and his name was James Emanuel and was somtimes called "Bub" Lowe b/c he resided with the LOWE family after his parents early passing..His parents names where Calvin or Colvin EMANUEL(AL) and Chaney(spelled multiple ways) Davis and I am unsure of their place of birth. I have and am continuting to visit the Church of Latter Day Saints for census information. Can't find birt certificate because they were not done in those times. If you have any ideas, PLEASE share..
