Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For a German speaker there is no pronounced resemblance between Ferderer and Anslinger except of the ending -er. As this is a very common ending of last names in Switzerland, Germany and Austria it does not indicate a relation. Most likely Anslinger is not of Swiss origin at all . There is only one entry for this name in the Swiss phone directory and I couldn't find it in the Swiss family handbook. As about 300 Germans have this last name it is more likely to be German. |
