Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Burksville is the county seat of Cumberland Co, KY. It had a population of about 1,800 in 2003. Their library is at 114 W Hill St, Burkesville, KY 42717. Contact their librarian to see if she will look in their newspaper index and/or if their local history society has an index to deaths/cemeteries.

I also have census info on this line through 1840. Contact me at dlpm @yahoo.com
