Why are jewish people so disliked?

Why are jewish people so disliked?

i hear all this bad talk about them but nevere get any truth full intelligent answer on what they did or have done that has been so bad.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: To understand the answer, you have to understand history. All throughout history the Jewish people have been reviled, persecuted, hated. Why? Simply put, because the church held them responsible for the death of Jesus of Nazareth, called the Christ. It is because of this religion inspired hatred that the first prejudices against the Jewish people turned into the first persecutions of them. From then on, Jewish people have been hated.
As a people, they are no better, nor any worse, than any other. They are human, and subject to the same shortcomings, the same gifts, and the same errors and accomplishments as any other group of people.
And, just in case this answer starts a riot...i am a white, female, catholic
