I've looked everywhere for parents of Charity Inez Rhodes b. N.C. 1794 d. 1860 Ark. can you help me?

I have been to every website, asked questions and left questions looking for the parents of Charity Rhodes and I can't find anything. I do think her father is Henry G. Rhodes, but who is her mother? I'm also looking for the Rhodes grandparents and where they came from.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Don't trust the records showing Henry Rhodes as her father. I found the same ones on FamilySearch.org, but there's no documentation or anything else showing where that information came from or how reliable it is. More importantly, if you go down the search results further, you'll find other records claiming the father's name is George Rhodes. It's even possible that his name was Henry George or George Henry, but you need to prove that before moving forward on the assumption.

The record with George Rhodes does not give the submitter's name and also has no references, but it does have one thing much more credible than other records...the marriage information for Charity to Jeremiah Combs in Warren Co Tennessee in 1810. Disregard all of the online records until you get a credible source, such as a marriage license or a church record, showing specifically who Charity's parents were. When there's a discrepancy, don't believe any of them until you see the proof for yourself.
