Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The obituary listings for the Winnipeg Free Press are available online. I found an Eileen Marie McAulay who passed away October 16, 2005 but no Eileen Marie McKinny/McKinney this year.

I also found a site that offers links to many free newspaper indexes and checked the Winnipeg Sun for an obit without success.
