Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes. Immediate family is normally a husband/ wife and their immediate children. Most genealogy records show this on what is called a family group sheet. The link to the rest is shown by including the parents names for both husband and wife.
Grandparents, uncles/aunts/, cousins, so forth are related but extended. When keeping family records, they will show up on family groups sheets, but with their own immediate family.
