Anyone else out there that have found him in their ancestory? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: He's twice a cousin in my husband's tree. His mother was Abiah Folger. Abiah's sister Experience married John Swain and it's from that line that my husband is a direct descendent. There's a second line back to the same family several generations later when Lucinda Folger (daughter of Nathan Folger) married Abner Swain in Massachusetts in 1785. She descended from Abiah and Experience's brother Eleazar (Benj. Franklin's uncle). By 1787, the family was living in Easton NY. By the end of that generation they had resettled to "the Thumb" of Michigan and have stayed in the state of Michigan for another 9 generations. |
