Help with tracing a marriage in Texas from the 80s...?

Help with tracing a marriage in Texas from the 80s...?

ok guys! i need all the help i can get!!

One of my aunts has been previously married before she met my uncle...she got hooked up w/ some army man in Texas, they were married least than a month....no, i dont know the guy's name or the county that they were married in...i know my aunt's full name (now (my uncle's last name) and her maiden name before her army marriage) anyway....i really need to find out if who this guy is and if he's even still alive...(he was in the army, u no) i really dont want to pay anything online for all these ''search'' companies...is there a free company that will @ least give me a general summary of the marriage/divorce certificates?? Once i get the dude's name, i can run a death search to see if he's still around....Can anyone help me???? This is really important!!!

...and, no, i cant just ask my aunt where it took place/who she married/divorced....so please none of those answers...thanks!
