How can I find out my Grandads parents names and occupations?

Hi,
I am researching my family tree at the moment and am stuck!
I have found out my Grandfathers details (which lead me to Wales). I only know his Mothers maiden name which was Williams. His name (and mine) was Evans.
So you can see I have 2 of the most common names in Wales to deal with!!

How can I find out who his Father was, his mothers first name, and also where they lived, or what they did for a living?
I have been onto many sites like Ancestry.com, genesreuited etc but always hit a brick wall at this point?
Any ideas?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Try www.heritagecrest.com. They have some pretty good resources, especially with the UK countries like Wales, Scotland and England. Get a copy of his birth certificate if you haven't already, and through that, since you already know his mother's maiden name before she became an Evans, you should be able to back track the birth certificates or church records to learn of their occupations.
