Question: Do you think my time has come and gone!?
Recently I have pondering going back into ballet!. I started dancing when I was 6 or 7 I think and the last year I did ballet was when I was either 13 or 14 (gees the brain just isn't working as well as it used to!.) I loved ballet I was doing 3 classes a week and doing the exams (and for the life of me can't even remember what grade I got to possibly 5 or 6 lol man I'm bad!) My parents would send me to summer dance camps in the summer as my type of summer camp to open up to other styles but always stuck to ballet!. My dream initially was to become a ballet teacher, but unfortunately I was demanding more classes and my parents bank book couldn't support what I had wanted and I wasn't the most complying teen so they decided to cancel it all!.I rebelld and did some things I'm not too fond of that I look back now as far as drinking and drugs go and to this day my mom still can't figure out way I plumeted!.Anyways all of that is out of my life and I am now 23 just had a baby but I am 5'6 130lbs not really in shape and have some left over belly from my daughter lol!. I've been looking around at dance studios in the area and looking at the adult classes and they just seem so lame and for beginners!.!.!.and I remember laughing at the adult classes at my recitals because they were just horrible! So do you think my time has come and gone, or is there still some hope!. I want my daughter to follow in my footsteps if she likes it, and I think if I continued it she might be more interested!. It's pretty sad I still have the brand new leotards, ballet slippers, character shoes, and pointe shoes for the year I never went back and everything still fits!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its not too late, it would be a good way to get in shape!. But you would need to go to beginner classes!.!.!. and thats ok, you've been out of the loop for a while!. even trained professionals go to beginners just to practice what they already know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think it sounds like a fun hobby to get involved in!. you obviously have the desire to do it, and it would be good exercise!.

you probably aren't going to get into juilliard or ABC or something like that if that's what you mean by "too late"!.

but you could definitely have fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
