Do I need to break in my Grishko 2007's?

Question: Do I need to break in my Grishko 2007's!?

This is my first time wearing "traditional" pointe shoes cos i've only used ganynor minden's, if you HAVE or ARE wearing Grishko's, do I need to break it in like: slamming them against the door, etc!. Some ppl say just use 'em like it is!.!. So please give me your advice! THANKS! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on the type of shank you have-the 2007s with Medium shanks were my first pointe shoes, and I didn't really break them in that drasticly, I kinda just walked around in them and after afew classes, they were all good :)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have grishko 2007s and have been with this type of shoe for over a year and do NOT do all that crap to them!. grishkos break in easy and the shank breaks down easy!. you can stick a bloch in a door and it'll be fine!. grishkos are not like this so please dont do this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
