Question: How can i get flexible asap!?
Hello im 15 and a dancer, i need to become more flexible as soon as possible and be able to do the splits and altogether generally be more flexible!. Please help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, there's ultimately only one way to become flexible!.

STRETCH A LOT!

It really helps!. also, put some music on or watch tv or something while you're doing it!. Any free time you have, use it to stretch!.

also, when you're studying or trying to read the text book, put the book in front of you and spread your legs as far as you can and go down!. Your face should be directly above the book!.

Attempt to do side splits and/or front splits every day, and try to go down more and more each day!.

What you need to have is just commitment, and your will-power will guide you through!.

No pain no gain!

These stretches help me!.!.


Try straddling and then pushing yourself against a wall!.!.!. i t sound weird but it will stretch your legs and each day try to get a tiny bit closer to the wall!.!.!. next try doing a split and then elevating your front or back foot with a pillow or something higher thank ground level (but not too high) this helped me get my split further!.!.!. do this for each leg!.!. also i would suggest putting your leg on a windowsill, barre or anything else and reaching forward!.!.!. they do this sometimes in ballet class!. the pilates stretching bands really help!.!.!. find these at a local sporting goods store and these really help!.!.!. try youtube or google and find stretches!.!.!.!.!. well hope i helped and happy dancing!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Start doing lots and lots of stretches!. Slow steady stretching movements, not quick or bouncy moves!.

Sorry, there are no magic pills, no shortcuts!. You can't have everything instantly in the real world!. If you want to be flexible, there are two requirements:

1!. Diligent practice at stretching!.
2!. Time!.

hi i had the same problem im 15 to and i couldnt even sit indian style =P and when my friends noticed they had me do alot of streching like butterflies and stuff and it really worked for me so good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
