Question: Strengthening Exercises For Dance!?
After a few years i'm planing on returning to dance, mostly ballet (including pointe) and modern!. I've had some personal issues and have gain some weight which i am well on my way to losing already!. I'm giving myself 8 months till i return to class!.
The strength in my ankles is slightly weaker than what it used to be!. I'm working on simple rises and the stretching with the stocking!. I want advice on how to build up the strength in my upper and lower body and especially my calf's and ankles please!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get a aerobics band and put your foot up put the band on your toe's and hold the ends of the band so the band is like an upside down V and write the ABC's with your foot then with the other!. It's hard but works my point teacher made the class do it in pre!. point!. Hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
