I started at 16, it wasn't fun being the giant in my class(I am used to being the short one)!. My first year of ballet was at 17, my teacher walked out on us soon after the routine started forming so I got stuck learning a simple choreography and not much in ballet terms!. To sum it up, as an ex level 7 gymnast, I was bored out of my mind!.
I am 19 now and take adult classes which are much more inviting in my opinion and I am no longer bored with what I am learning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly you are never too old to start taking ballet!. Just find a class that is encouraging for an older beginner!. The older you are, the harder you have to work, but if you are willing, you can have fun and be great at any age!.

It doesn't just apply to dance!.
You should totally go for it!.
If you're a teen or young adult, you probably still have like, 50 or 60 years to learn ballet!. ;)

There isn't an age! One of my friends started when she was 3, and my other friend started when she was 18 - so it's really up to you!
