you might of ssewn the elastic too far apart!. thats what i did
or you could tighten the elastic (the drawstring part)
or you could put water on the back of your heel and also put rosin on your stockings and over the shoe!. that helps too!.
good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't worry!. Try tying the eslastics tighter and if that doesn't work get heel grippers!. You can find them at dance stores!. also keep in mind that the elastics can help too!. The elastics are supposed to wrap around your ankle not sit on top of it!. This will give you a litlle more tightness for your heels!. If none of this works you just have to face the fact that you may have gotten a defect pointe shoe!. Happens all the time, just go out and buy a new one!. However, there is a chance that Bloch may have switched makers so in that case you would have to find a new brand of pointe shoes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That happens to me a lot! What you can do is put water on the back of the shoe where the alkalies tendon is!. This helps because it sticks to your tights if you are wearing any!. also, make sure the drawstring are tight and fit around your foot nicely!. You may also need to break them in a little more!

They could even be a little small, I know that's hard to hear when they're new but it's true!
This doesn't mean there is a defect, it's just how they fit on your foot!. Bloch may not be the right fit!

Finally, make sure the elastic keeps your ankle in place!. It's there to suppourt and hold you foot in place! You may also want to make sure the fitter gave you the right fit and those are the best shoes for your foot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

everyone backstage at our performances always put there foot in the sink with thier pointe shoe on and turn the faucet on over thier heal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
