Question: Anyone offer advice on straddle splits!?
I can do both right and left splits, but seem to have a pressure in my hip when i attempt straddles!. At the moment i am trying while my knees/toes are pointed Up along with my torso and just can't get fully into that 180!. please help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i was the same way!. im a cheerleader and a dancer!. theres this thing you can do we always called them "hip flexors"!. they work the muscles in your hips!. they are helpful for toe touches and splits!.

sit on the floor in a straddle sit, with your legs out!. and lift your legs up slowly and than lower them back down!. it seems funny, and pointless!. but they help!.!! do maybe like 15 a day or even more!. you'll get closer and closer!.

I am exactly like you! I can do the right and left splits but I can′t do the straddle split!.

But you just gotta keep streching, If I were you I would watch TV and open my legs the most I could than I′d put some books holding my legs and stay there for around 5 minutes than rest one minute and repeat everything again!.

Then about half hour a day I would try doing the straddle split and push and push!. When you feel the pain hold it for about 30 seconds!. I know it hurts but it is needed!.
