My pointe shoes wings are really soft, what can I do to harden them?

Question: My pointe shoes wings are really soft, what can I do to harden them!?

My pointe shoes are Gamba!. I go through them really quickly because the wings soften so fast! Anyone else have this problem!? What do you do to harden them!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gamba's are very soft shoes, I would know cause i have had them before!. Wings are on the side of the pointe shoe near the box!. Why would you want to make that hard, when i get shoes i always break the wings in!. If you really want to harden the wings or the shoe, use JET GLUE, it makes the shoe harder!. also, why not just try the harder kind of Gamba's or just a harder shoe in general!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

there isn't really a way to harden your wings!. you could put more padding around them so that they don't saoften as fast but besides that, maybe you should try aa shoe with more sturdy wings!Www@QuestionHome@Com
