Then within the time it gets the notification email, and you check their profile out, they've blocked you!.

If your Q&A are set to private they are doing it to have a quick nosey at what you've posted recently (probably to troll you with thumbs downs/reports) and then blocking you so you can't check their account!.

See if the people doing it are relatively new!. One name springs to mind --- starts with an E --- could be second accounts perhaps!?

Really, you should stop being so funny and popular!. You know how that upsets people!

I mean the person who had been abusive towards you when answering your questions might be looking for ways to see your questions if you have set them to private :)

Yes but then I just add them right back and go to look to see what they're all about!. If I see any sort of anal retentive attitude its an automatic block from me!. I also am fishy of people who answer my questions angrily and then star the question - I just KNOW they are waiting to come back to report my question!. Another automatic block!.

I always get random people adding me, I just block them!.
As for adding then blocking, I haven't had it done to me but I do it all the time!. I want to look at someones Q&A but they are set to private, so I add them, nosy through them and then block them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had a couple this morning!. I'm too nice and have a hard time blocking someone without good reason!. So, I added them also but if the violations start back up, I'll have an idea as to why!. Maybe I'm naive (yes, I can be, lol) but I don't think I have reason to worry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah that happens to me a couple times a week!. If the person is someone I have never heard of, I block and then unblock!. I don't want a bunch of people being my fan so if they are unfamiliar to me , I block them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I came on this morning to find a girl that had added me, with no answers and no questions!. None of my contacts were in her contacts either!. So I have no idea how she found me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes it does happen a lot!. They can be viruses or spams!. So do NOT add them!. They can go through your hard drive and other things like that!.
