Question: Break Dancing question!?
Hi! I have a slight problem!. I'm right handed, and do almost all my poses on my right hand!. However, my general direction is counter-clockwise! Yeah, that means I stab all my mills and flares with my left arm!.!.!.which surprisingly, I can do efficiently now =X!.

However, I'm very concerned for my future!. For example, when I start learning chair flares or chair mills, what the heck am I gonna do!?!?!?

So I'm looking for the advice of an experienced bboy!. Should I change the direction of my power moves and start over from ground zero, 2 years wasted!? Or do I start training my left arm to take over most of my poses and strengths, at sacrifice to my poses now (my pike is what I'm most proud of, I can get as far as parallel to the ground now, so I'd hate to lose it D=)!? Or is there a way I can just keep going as I am now and overcome the problems!?

I know I've seen Bruce Lee from Gamblerz pop into chairs in his mills in the same situation!.!.!.but I'm not Gamblerz material x!.x!. And I can't think of a way to do chair flares at all like this!.!.!.at best, I can lag my flare into a chair spin maybe!.

KK, thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have the exact same problem that I thought I had! I do all of my freezes on my left, but mill/flare right! I started worrying right when I was getting my mills and talked to one of the older guys on my krew-he said that I should just keep learning all of my stuff counter and worry about the rest later!.!.!. Well, it's later, and I can say that I am glad I took his advice!. I am working on head and elbow tracks and although it is taking work to get the strength in my left, I am getting there!. I can also hit one handed tracks off my right and chair spin my right though!

Ultimately, starting over now will take valuable time away from your prime!. Just keep working hard on your counter-clockwise moves and start building that left arm strength (I know it feels impossible at first, but we are bboys; nothing is impossible)!.

By the time you have to worry about chair flares, you will know what to do and how to do it!. Good luck!
