Question: What is the tango move called when the girl is inverted!?
My fiancé and I are practicing tango and we were taught a move where I pull her over my thigh and flip her upside down for a pose for a 4-count!. she sticks her legs straight up with one slightly angled!. What is the name of that move!? Please serious posts only!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know the answer to your question, but I can definitely tell you that whatever you were taught is not Argentine Tango (there is no legs sticking up in Argentine Tango)!. This maybe something from ballroom tango, and if you are learning it - there is nothing wrong!. But unless your goal is to perform in competitions, I'd strongly recommend you learn Argentine Tango (the one danced in BsAs milongas)!. It will take yout more time and efforts, but you'll learn the language of tango and will be able to dance anywhere in the world with any partner, and not with only one who knows the same steps you learned!. Just my 2 cents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
