there are a lot of different ones,
there are dance/ drill teams
and cheer teams
and jazz teams
stomp teams
even hip hop teams
some of them do lyrical too
but not modern, usually!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

in all the schools that i've been to they dance hip hop and pop music!. just music that's really in right now!Www@QuestionHome@Com

my school does like line kick and jazz/funk!.
kick would look more like cheerleading to the untrained eye ;)
but its really tough work which makes it fun!
