Pros can break down a fairly long, complex series of moves by observing it even one time!. They are expected to when they have to dance in a chorous!. For them it's fairly easy since most dance moves derive from a fairly short list of standard moves, sprinkled with truely unique steps!.

They learn by observing the choreographer and trying it out a few times!. Then they spend hours getting it down perfectly and in sync with the rest of the dancers!.

What you have to realize is that most of these dancers have honed their skills by years of constant training and practice!. Like with any other skilled art, some have a natural talent and this comes easier for them!. Others have to work that much harder to match that level of skill!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should be able to recognize the moves from your own dance classes, if not then that is the problem,
i have had to learn multiple solos plus 3 group dances from a video before and when we all met for a rehearsal all dancers were dancing the same moves,

tip: write down the moves the dancers on the video are doing then go through the moves without the video and learn them if learning off a video as it is playing is too hardWww@QuestionHome@Com

Hi there :-)

Dancing sure is fun and you look absolutely awesome when you learn moves from professionals!

So, the best bet is to slow down the video and learn very small sections one at a time!. Some software to help with this is here:

The other option is dance instruction, depending on your style you can master almost any form with a DVD! great!

I recomend these, but you can try all by yourself!.!.!.!. it will take a little longer though!.

Good luck and keep grooving!Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are pros and probably took years to get there and dance well!. The only thing that would get you better is to practice!. Practice, practice and practice!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

keep pressing pause and break down the video by each frame and look at each part of each move closelyWww@QuestionHome@Com
