Question: Stretches that will keep me from getting cramps from pointing my feet!?
I've just started dancing jazz and we have to do pointe on kicks and stuff!. But a lot of the time I get cramps and it REALLY hurts!. Are there any stretches I can do to keep from getting those!?
I have noticed that since I've started dancing they have started to go away, but they are still noticeable!. Do I just need to keep practicing!?

It will help to roll your arches by standing on a rolling pin or a soup can!. Sit in a chair and roll your arches over it!.
You may also want to get a therband to work on pushing through!. Try doing some warm ups like rolling through a full flex to point, and "writing the ABCs" with your feet to stretch your arches through a full range of motionWww@QuestionHome@Com
