Question: Dancing, flexibility, and so on!?
Okay, well im a dancer!. But i want to be better!.

Im flexible, but i want to be more flexible
I can do leaps and jumps good, but i want to do them better!.
I have strong legs, but i want to get my jumps up much higher!.

if you want to be more flexible you need to stretch!. everyday!. even for 15 minutes!. you may be sore at first but that's a sign your muscles are becoming more flexible!. when you leap, the most important thing to remember is to begin with and end with a plie!. and leap up not out or acrossWww@QuestionHome@Com

To do jumps and leaps and everything, the first thing you need is a split!. This is what my sister told all her girls to get their splits:
If you hold your split for 1 minute everyday for a week, by the end, your split will be 1 inch closer to the ground!. 2 min/day=2 in/wk, etc!.
(2min in AM and 2 min in PM = 4 min a day, 4 inches a week)

now you didnt give much info but if your at a company right now!.!.!.you might consider swithing to a more ballet based company

also when and if you do take more ballet than anything else!.!.!.from experience: you might be "learning" how to plie and tondue but!.!.!. that is how you get better at the tricks you would like to do

I went to an audition for a dance show one year and they said that i suked!.!.!.i focused on ballet for one whole year and when i caame back they cast me as the main part
BTW: it was a jazz thing so ballet helps all types of dance

for flexibility stretch about 15 minutes a day, it helps me a lot but you have too keep stretching even when you have them!. for jumps and strong legs i would say work at the bar!. doing a lot of bar helps strengthen your legs!. if you think about it plies are what start and end jumps!. mostly just practice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

don't get too high expectations for yourself!. well you just need to stretch and practice!. about an hour a day, you will definitely get the results!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stretch for about 30 minutes a day!. Back stretches help!. I've been doing gymnastics for a long time and really helps my flexibilityWww@QuestionHome@Com
